At this facility, you can expect well-seasoned guides, outstanding accommodations, and great hunts. This exceptionally beautiful 14,000 square foot lodge has 14 guest rooms and sleeps 24. The lounge offers incredible dining experiences, a big-screen television, a full- size billiard table, and a fully stocked bar with top-shelf liquor. Take in a sauna, soak in the Jacuzzi, or book a massage after dinner. Elk hunts are conducted in remote wilderness areas throughout the territory. Guests are packed in by horse and mule to enjoy deluxe backcountry camps with full amenities. One guide to one hunter ratio is maintained. The number of hunters is limited to maintain trophy quality. This ranch has exceptional archery hunts for a variety of big game including deer, elk, and bear. Guides spend countless hours scouting and preparing for the fall hunts to help make the archery experience a success. Archery hunts are done using both spot/stalk and tree stand hunting methods. You may choose to stay in the luxury lodge or travel deep into the back country. Whitetail and mule deer hunts are conducted on our 5,000 deeded acre ranch as well as in the National Forest hunting concessions. These hunts sell out every year, so book early to secure your spot! Black bear hunting has been booming here for years with an opportunity rate of 90% per year. Colors of the American back bear range from blonde, cinnamon, and reddish chocolate to traditional black. Idaho Fish and Game Dept. estimates the populations of black bear at 2 1⁄2 bears per square mile in our hunting territory. In most areas, hunters are allowed to harvest two bear with five full day hunts. Bear hunting is conducted from both our deluxe backcountry camps and from our Orvis endorsed lodge. Turkey hunting is popular at this facility and is most often combined with Spring Bear hunts. The combination hunts is conducted from the luxurious 14,000 square foot lodge. Populations of Merriam subspecies have grown dramatically here. Two bird limits are in effect. Click for WeatherUpland game birds possibilities abound with five species to shoot. You may walk the timbered ridges and brushy draws, upland pastures or open slopes for ruffed and blue grouse, pheasant, Hungarian partridge, valley quail, and Chukar. The best German shorthaired pointers with nationally recognized lineage are available for your hunt. This is Steelhead fishing country. Strategically located minutes from the nationally recognized steelhead fishery of the Clearwater River, we cater to the avid steelhead fisherman who lives for the thrill of landing the 20+ pound steelhead on the fly. Power and drift boards equipped with bait and spinning tackle are also available. Cutthroat trout are native to Idaho. With fewer and fewer places where fly anglers can fish for truly wild-west slope cutthroat trout; this is the place for great fishing.
