Fresh Water Fishing Half Day
Florida Public Land
DescriptionAnglers from around the country travel south to find the best in big bass fishing. Central Florida is the king of trophy large mouth bass. Trolling or cast wild shiners along heavy weed beds is a sure fire way to lock into that 10 pounder every bass fisherman dreams about. Going through 50 shiners in a half day is a normal practice during our spring and fall months. Artificial lures such as plastic worms or top water plugs can also produce good numbers of fish. Flipping in heavy cover is everyone's favorite for catching the big boys. Any type of bass fishing you prefer, we can do it. From Okeechobee to the Withlacoochee River, we cover the top spots for giant large mouth bass. Florida also is home to many lakes that produce high numbers of crappie. In the fall and winter months we get daily limits of crappie up to and over 2 pounds. That’s a big crappie. Flipping the pads with jigs and minnows is my preferred method and just about my personal favorite fish that I do. I just cant get enough of dragging monster crappie out of the pads on a cool morning. It’s a blast and the eating aint bad either. Come down and check it out. You wont be disappointed.
