Description

This hunt is extremely strenuous. In order to be successful, you are advised to train and arrive in top physical condition. The camp consists of wall tents and bomb shelter style tent camping. Home cooked meals over the Yukon stove or around the camp fire in the old traditional way. Hot showers, wood heat, tables, chairs and enough creature comforts to enjoy without losing the feel of being in the mountains. Spike camps have lightweight expedition grade backpack tents. In most cases, you will share this tent with your guide. Spike camps consist of MSR stoves, freeze dried food, sleeping bags and pads along with a space blanket, your rifle and your personal gear. You will need a frame pack; or make prior arrangements with the outfitter to hire a packer. Cost of a packer is $300 per day. Guided Fly out fishing is available for lake trout, sheefish, dolly varden, & pike. PRICE INCLUDES: 1x1 guide service, sleeping bag, pad, food and beverages, trophy field preparation. PRICE EXCLUDES: airfare to Fairbanks, air charter to Bettles via Bettles Air (approx. $1,500 per plane load) (www.bettlesair.com) trophy shipment, special food, cost of medications, immunizations, hospitalizations and services of doctors, charges for evacuation or rescue by ambulance, helicopter or airplane and any other service or product that is not agreed or mentioned in this document. Reservations & Payments: Per person in U.S. Dollars only, confirmation will be upon receipt of a 50% deposit with balance in cash or check by July 1 of the hunt year.
