DescriptionFall Tundra wolf are prevalent during this season. Wolf tags are no longer necessary in unit 9D. Fishing for Steelhead (if running) can provide much enjoyment if weather and time permits. Price: $25,500 if booked in 2014 (otherwise, subject to change Hunt Dates: May 10-20, 2014 or May 21 through May 31, 2014 Prior to arrival you must have ADF&G Registration Permit RB 370 After arriving in David River (base camp) you will be flown to your spike camp. PRICE INCLUDES: Accommodations, sleeping bag, food and beverages, trophy field preparation. PRICE EXCLUDES: Air fare from Anchorage to Cold Bay on PenAir (approx. $860), charter in Cessna 207 or Piper Aztec twin with Kenai Floatplane Service, (approx. $1,400-can split if in a group) trophy shipment, special food, cost of medications, immunizations, hospitalizations and services of doctors, charges for evacuation or rescue by ambulance, helicopter or airplane and any other service or product that is not agreed or mentioned in this document. Base Camp Accommodations: Enjoy comfortable heated cabins situated around the kitchen and dining facilities. Share camaraderie while feasting on home cooked meals. Power and hot showers are available at the beginning and end of the hunt. This, however, is a bear camp, not a lodge. Established campsites are in key positions that have been proven over the past 40 years. Each camp consists of 2 tents outfitted with cots, pads, warm sleeping bags, tables, chairs, lanterns, heaters and lots of good food along with skilled and personable guides. Satellite phones are in each camp and each guide is on a check-in schedule with the base camp. Reservations & Payments: Per person in U.S. Dollars only, confirmation will be upon receipt of a 50% deposit with balance in cash due upon arrival in camp. You must also read, understand and accept by signing the Terms and Conditions, Release of Liability and the Hunting Contract. Balance is due in cash at the beginning of the hunt. Upon entry into the U.S. with a trophy, present to authorities your Wildlife Declaration Form 3-177. All clients must comply with the U.S. Department of the Interior/Fish and Wildlife Services laws, requirements and conditions.Trophy Care: All bear hides are professionally skinned, fleshed, salted and dried. They are shipped at your expense to an expeditor who will then ship them to your taxidermist. It is best to have your bear hide tanned in Anchorage which assists with the CITES Export Permit and entry Permit to your home country. Prior to arrival you must have ADF&G Registration Bear Permit RBH368. After arriving in Anchorage, take Peninsula Airways (Pen-Air) to Cold Bay. Pen-Air Reservations 1-800-448-4226 (Cold Bay 907-532-2485). Request David River Lodge rate (10% discount). You will need to pre-arrange your charter with Kenai Floatplane Service (907-2237/4080 (Theo Chesley) who will be there to fly you to David river (base camp). Arrive in Base Camp 2 days prior to start of hunt (allow for weather). Due to size of aircraft we recommend bringing your priority hunting gear in carry-on bags and in your gun case. It is strongly recommended that you purchase a changeable airline ticket. Alaska Peninsula weather is highly unpredictable at this time of year.
