Wyoming's Pack-in Fly Fishing Trip
Golden Trout, Rainbow Trout
Wyoming's rugged Wind River Mountain Range may be the last great frontier in the country. It boasts the largest active glaciers in the lower 48, hundreds of alpine lakes teeming with wild trout, abundant wildlife, and world class mountain climbing. The unique setting of this guest ranch gives you access to 100,000 spectacular acres. Saddle up on sure footed horses for a real western adventure! There is something for everyone - families, groups and individuals are welcome. This past Wyoming Outfitter of the Year has been offering pack-in trips since 1973. Wyoming's Wind River Mountain Range is famous for its pristine alpine lakes and streams teeming with wild trout, an adventure paradise for fly fishermen. Cutthroat trout are the only native fish in the Wind River Range. However, thanks to the old-timers who horse packed young fingerlings in milk cans to secluded lakes, today you can also enjoy fishing for golden trout, rainbow trout, mackinaw, brook trout and beautifully colored hybrid trout. Accommodations consist of four person dome tents and enjoy meals around the campfire. Enjoy fly fishing at its best.
