Traditional Hunter Education


Pull into the gate and turn left. Park by the Blue Training Facility at the North end of the parking lot by the Shotgun Range. Special Instructions for All Students Cost is $30.00 per student. Lunch will be provided. Students will receive a $25.00 gift certificate for shoot time on the Pistol or Rifle Range upon successful completion of the course.

About California Department of Fish & Wildlife

The Traditional Hunter Education course consists of a minimum of 10 hours of classroom, homework, and field instruction. The Traditional Course is most often preferred by first-time hunters.STOP All students are required to obtain a California Get Outdoors ID (GO ID) prior to registering for California Hunter Education courses.
