Traditional Hunter Education


A $5.00 facility fee per person will be collected by the Westside Parks and Rec District the first night of class. This is a three night course, and attendance all three nights are mandatory. Online pre-registration is required at Special Instructions for All Students All students must pre register for the class at If students fail to pre register they may not attend the class. Classes start at 6:30pm each night. All three nights are mandatory. Students must bring all paperwork indicated when they pre register to class with them on the first night. There is a $5.00 per person fee due the first night of class only. This is a facility use fee and is collected by Westaide Park and Rec District. If there are any question students may contact the Westside Park and Rec District. Registration closes on August 6th. No one will be allowed to register the day of the class.

The Traditional Hunter Education course consists of a minimum of 10 hours of classroom, homework, and field instruction. The Traditional Course is most often preferred by first-time hunters.STOP All students are required to obtain a California Get Outdoors ID (GO ID) prior to registering for California Hunter Education courses.
