This substitutes for 2 hours of actual class time. Failure to have a chapter's questions completed may result in the student not being able to participate in need to pick up the books at least 1 or 2 weeks before the class Special Instructions for All Students Every student has to get a CA GO ID number from you local sporting goods store and register on line and the student has to pick up there booklets at least a week before the class and to cancel it has to be 24 hr before the class the website is California fishandwildlife.com

The Traditional Hunter Education course consists of a minimum of 10 hours of classroom, homework, and field instruction. The Traditional Course is most often preferred by first-time hunters.STOP All students are required to obtain a California Get Outdoors ID (GO ID) prior to registering for California Hunter Education courses.
