Traditional Hunter Education
Class Fee: $10.00 per student Class will start at 1:00 PM sharp, please arrive a few minutes early so we can ensure all student documents are filled out and turned in. All students under 18 years of age, must have a parent or guardian sign a release form. We’ll take periodic breaks throughout the course and will break for lunch on Sunday. How much time we take for lunch is all up to the group. Bring a lunch or any additional food/snacks or other non-alcoholic beverages you may want. I will provide bottled water, coffee, tea and hot cocoa on both days and donuts or pastries on Sunday morning. **Do not bring any guns or ammo into the classroom** River Oaks Range/Safety First Shooting Association is a non-alcoholic and non-smoking facility. If you need to smoke, you can only do so inside of your vehicle.

The Traditional Hunter Education course consists of a minimum of 10 hours of classroom, homework, and field instruction. The Traditional Course is most often preferred by first-time hunters.STOP All students are required to obtain a California Get Outdoors ID (GO ID) prior to registering for California Hunter Education courses.
