Standard Course

Description

Student fee of $10. Hunter education cards will be awarded to students upon successful completion of the course, which includes attending both class sessions, passing a written test and participating in the live fire exercise. Rifles and ammunition for the live fire will be provided. No personal firearms are allowed. All programs, services and activities of Colorado Parks and Wildlife are operated in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. To assure that Parks and Wildlife can meet special needs, please notify Don at least seven (7) days before the class. These courses are sponsored by the Pagosa Springs Police Department in conjunction with Colorado Parks and Wildlife with support from the local chapter of the Friends of the NRA.
