Louisiana Hunter Education Classroom Course


All participants must: 1. Attend the all three days to receive credit 2. Pass a true/false test covering all 10 chapters of Louisiana Hunter Education 3. Arrive on time 4. Participate in the live fire exercise Class notes: 1. Participants may bring food. Drinks with closed tops only. 2. Personal firearms are not needed. LDWF supplies all firearms and ammunition.

About Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries

Persons born on or after September 1, 1969, must successfully complete a Hunter Education Course in order to hunt in the state of Louisiana. Hunter Education Courses are open to persons of all ages, but only those persons 10 years of age or older are eligible for certification. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a Louisiana Hunter Education Certification Card that is recognized by all states and provinces that require hunter education.Hunter Education Courses are free.
