Living History

Description

The Harold W. Andersen Visitor Center will be open daily from May 28 through September 5 from 10am to 5pm and weekends April 30 through May 22 and from September 10 through October 9.   An admission fee of $2 per adult & $1 for children is required for the Visitor Center. Living History Schedule with interpretive hours from 10am to 5pm as follows: April 30 & May 1            August 6 & 7  – General Theme for this weekend will be the first supply have arrived for the season and spring planting season has begun.  At 1:30 on Saturday the 30th, Suzanne Gucciardro will give a presentation on agriculture/horticulture at the old Fort. June 4 & 5                       September 3 & 4 July 2 & 3                        October 1 & 2 On these days, volunteers portray life at an 1820’s military fort.  Each event weekend has a different theme for further information contact the park. A Park Entry Permit is required.
