Ladies Handgun Skill Training Club

Description

44th and Superior Special Instructions for All Students Designed for people who have completed a basic-level handgun/pistol class. We will use proven training techniques as a guideline to train new shooters. Qualification shooting is a year-round shooting activity that provides incentive awards for developing and improving marksmanship skills. Progression is self-paced and scores are challenging but attainable. The courses of fire in the qualification program are designed to take shooters from beginning skill levels through intermediate levels (Marksman 1st Class, Sharpshooter, and Expert) up to the nationally recognized skill level - Distinguished Expert, the pinnacle of the program. By the time a shooter completes the Distinguished Expert rating, she has attained a proficiency level paralleling that of a competitively classified Sharpshooter. This program is limited to the Pistol course of fire. Bring 100 - 150 rounds for your personal firearm. $30.00 per attendance includes range fee, targets, instruction, and up to 2 hours of range time. There is no requirement to attend every month as this is an open ongoing program. Prerequisite completion of a First Steps Pistol, GRIT Ladies Pistol, or Intro to Handgun course. Rental equipment and ammunition is available for an additional fee. For more information and course of fire details, visit http://mqp.nra.org/.
