JOC DAM RELEASE WHITEWATER RAFTING Level 3 Lehigh River - July 9th

Join the JOC for a fun-filled dam release day on the Level 2-3 Lehigh
River, with water gun fights, bucket splashing and lots of fun with fellow JOCers!
High powered water guns are welcome!
Just a little over 2 hours from NYC, the Lehigh River is the perfect
spot for warm summertime rafting. At a class 2-3, this trip is ideal for seasoned rafters and
whitewater newbies alike.
Please be aware that there is about a half a mile hike\walk preceding
the actual rafting, so please keep that in mind.
$68 early bird until June 29th (subject to availability)
$73 after June 29th (subject to availability)

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
New signups may cancel until June 28th without penalty. They will be
refunded the full amount that they paid. After that, the person must
find a replacement on their own who will pay the one who canceled
directly. We can try to help, but make no guarantees.
(in the small chance that we have to postpone because of a major
storm, only vouchers can be given as a refund, which can be used for
the rescheduled JOC whitewater rafting Level 2-3 trip or they can be
used any other time at Poconos Whitewater)
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
light rain will not cancel, but a major storm will.
In the case we have to cancel, we will reschedule .
Please check your email in case we have to cancel due to a major storm.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
To sign up, you must do two things:
A) Go to https://joc-rafting-july-2017.eventbrite.com and register.
B) Pay the $68 early bird or $73 after July 18th via Paypal
are not comfortable using Paypal or Chase QuickPay, please have a
friend pay on your behalf. When doing so, have them write your name
and email in the memo section of the payment.
We are taking payments this way to minime your cost and ours!

The Jewish Outdoors Club has no duty to provide medical assistance or advice to any participant. All persons who participate in any hike or other activity of the Jewish Outdoors Club accept responsibility for making their own determinations as to the suitability of the activity and for their own safety, conduct and well-being and agrees to participate solely at their own risk.In consideration of the right to participate in any hike or other activities of the Jewish Outdoors Club, I, the undersigned, assume the risks associated with these activities and will hold the Jewish Outdoors Club, its officers, directors, event leaders and agents harmless from and defend them against any and all liability, actions, suits, claims and demands which could arise from any of the club’s activities and from any loss or injury which I may sustain as a result of my participation in any of these activities. This agreement shall also serve as a release of liability and assumption of risk by me, and is intended to be binding on my heirs, administrators, executors and all members of my family.
