Required Materials: PAPER, PENCIL/PEN, READY TO TAKE NOTES, awesome attitude! $10.00 cash only! Students who attend this class must BE AT LEAST 10 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER and able to READ, WRITE, AND COMPREHEND TESTABLE MATERIAL. Check in is at 9:00 a.m. Class instruction begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. Students will complete the live fire exercise at the indoor range directly behind the classroom at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife office at 4155 Sinton Road, Colorado Springs. Students will need to provide their own transportation to the range. All rifles, ammunition, targets and ear and eye protection provided by the instructor! NO PERSONAL FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM! The class will be conducted at Big R of Monument at 840 Spanish Bit Drive, Monument, Colorado 80921. Classroom is in the lounge area of the store. PLEASE DOWNLOAD, PRINT AND SIGN THE STUDENT CONSENT FORM AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO CHECK-IN (see below). This course is approximately 6 total hours and upon satisfactory completion of the class and the range, you will receive the hunter education card. About Colorado Parks & Wildlife

Internet Course + Conclusion Class - Students complete a portion of the course online at their convenience, and then attend a shorter class than required by the traditional course. This option is not available in all parts of the state, so register for an available class before starting the online course. The Colorado INTERNET-BASED Hunter Education Course is necessary for students to qualify for a Colorado Hunter Education Certificate. The major portion of this course is taken online, allowing the student to complete the mandatory homework. Registration for this event is only for students that have completed the online course.There are three options available for taking the Internet course. There is an additional cost for the online courses, in addition to any fee for the classroom portion of the course.
