Register online here. You MUST pick up a book at Izaak Walton, Davenport Guns both in Davenport, K&K hardware,B&B shooting Supplies both in Bettendorf. You Must read the book and do the questions at the end of the book BEFORE attending the class.Hot dogs sloppy joes chips,and coffee,pop machine will be available, or you can bring your own lunch/snacks. About Iowa Department of Natural Resources

Iowa law requires that anyone born after January 1, 1972 must be certified in hunter education before they are eligible to purchase an Iowa hunting license.Typically there is no charge for the course, unless lunch is furnished or room rental is required. If a charge is required for the items mentioned previously, the class will indicate the amount to be charged in the special instructions section prior to completing the class registration process. All charges must be paid upon arrival to the class in the form of cash or check. Hunter Education Classroom courses are offered by knowledgeable and certified volunteer instructors and Iowa Conservation Officers.Classroom courses are typically 12-15 hours in length and are held over 2 to 3 sessions (days). In order to receive certification, a student must attend all sessions (days) and pass the final exam.We do not prevent attendance based on age; however:
