If you want to become a fisher-person, this is a great way to start! Whether you consider it sport or hobby, relax & enjoy a pastime that can provide stress-relief & a breath of fresh air in a hectic world.


Oregon Fish & Wildlife provides all the equipment for this great introduction to fishing. Basic fishing techniques, interactive activities, fish identification & anatomy, knot tying, safety & environmental education, & casting games are all part of the fun! Final day of camp is a field trip to Haldeman Pond on Sauvie Island for a true fishing experience. Space is limited, so sign up soon!
Bring a lunch, water bottle, good walking shoes, sunscreen & a white cotton t-shirt for a fish-print craft.
