First Steps Pistol Class

Description

Course objectives: To provide beginning shooters with an introduction to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for pistol shooting and how to use a specific pistol safely. Course length: 3 hours total, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday evenings for three weeks. Prerequisites: None Pistols & ammunition provided. Personal firearms may or may not be allowed at the instructor’s discretion. Subjects covered: 1. Introduction to Pistol Safety, Parts, and Operation. 2. Introduction to Ammunition and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting. 3. Introduction to Pistol Shooting from Bench Rest and Two Hand Standing Positions. Cost for entire 3 week class: $30 Registration closes Dec 6th. Participants must be pre-registered, no walk-ins allowed. Minimum 3 participants for class to be held.
