Arizona Bonus Point Field Day

The Field Day is held at Range #1. This is the first range on your left as you enter the range complex. Park in the Range #1 parking area. Vehicles with low ground clearance not recommended. Road to range may be impassable during high water. Special Instructions for All Students This is a Bonus Point Field Day for experienced hunters. All students are expected to know how to perform the required tasks and complete the test with no additional instruction or review. Novice hunters and those under 18 should attend an Online Course Field Day. Requirements to attend the Bonus Point Field Day: Students must be an experienced hunter 18 years of age or older by the date of the Field Day. Students must complete and pass the Official Arizona Hunter Safety Course Online before they can attend the Field Day. Students may enroll online at' https://www.hunter-ed.com/arizona/.' Students MUST bring their Online Course Completion Certificate and Consent/Waiver Form with them to the Field Day and provide it to the Field Day Instructor upon check-in. There is a written test at the end of the field day. Students must score 80% or higher to pass. What to wear and bring to the Field Day: SHIRT: High-collar, long-sleeve shirt covering the entire torso to protect from flying shell casings, sun, insects, and vegetation. No tank-tops, low-cut or half-shirts. PANTS: Sturdy, long pants worn above the waist. No shorts or dresses. FOOTWEAR: Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes or boots with above-the-ankle socks. No open-toed shoes. HEADGEAR: Those with long hair must secure it with headgear or tie. We recommend a hat with a brim. WATER: Bring at least 750 ml (25 oz) of water per person; twice that in hot weather. EYE/EAR PROTECTION: Bring eye and hearing protection for all Students and observers. A limited number of loaner pairs are available for a $5 cash deposit.
